Organiser Terms of Use

Scope

These Organiser Terms of Use apply to event organisers, venue teams, and staff using the Bookaroo admin portal to create, publish, and manage events.

These terms are organiser-specific and are in addition to the attendee-facing Terms of Use.

About Bookaroo

Bookaroo is an event ticketing facilitation platform operated by FlowIQ (Pty) Ltd. Bookaroo provides the technology used by independent organisers to run ticketed events.

Organiser Account Responsibilities

• Keep login credentials secure and do not share accounts across unrelated users.
• Ensure event, pricing, venue, and policy information is accurate before publishing.
• Use lawful and accurate business details, including tax and payout information.
• Promptly remove or correct misleading event information.

Merchant of Record and Payments

The organiser is the merchant of record for ticket sales made through organiser-managed events.

Payments are processed by configured third-party providers, and settlement is handled per provider rules and configured split/subaccount setup.

Refunds, Cancellations, and Disputes

Organisers are responsible for their own refund and cancellation policies and for handling customer communication around event changes.

In the event of chargebacks or disputes, the organiser remains responsible for responses, evidence, and outcomes with the payment provider.

Acceptable Use

Organisers must not:

• List fraudulent or unlawful events.
• Manipulate ticket pricing, availability, or payment workflows dishonestly.
• Attempt to bypass platform security or tenant boundaries.
• Use attendee data outside lawful and disclosed purposes.

Service Availability

Bookaroo aims for reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance, third-party provider downtime, or network issues may affect service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bookaroo's liability to an organiser is limited to fees paid for the affected services in the relevant period.

Changes to Terms

Bookaroo may update these organiser terms from time to time. Continued use of the admin portal after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
